I was born outside of Seattle, Washington and moved to Maui when I was in elementary school. I attended Kamali'i Elementary and then continued my education St. Anthony's in Wailuku. I went to school for Business, but then changed my major to Elementary Education before graduating from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. During this time I worked as an Autism Para Professional at Kihei Elementary from 2009-2013.
After graduating, and becoming a Highly Qualified Teacher in the State of Hawai'i, I became a Fourth Grade teacher at Kamali'i Elementary in 2013. I was so excited to get to return to the school I once attended as a student! In 2017 I became 4th Grade's Grade Level Chair. I truly love my job and enjoy teaching and participate in a lot of professional development opportunities for fun. Outside of school my son Johnny is number one. He keeps my hands very full outside of school! |
